About Us
Honey Beach Collectibles grew out of a lifelong love of Department 56 villages - and a tradition that started long before the shop did.
My brothers and I grew up in sunny South Florida, where my mother had many collectibles, including Lenox, Christopher Radko ornaments, and antique china. She collected Department 56 villages with devotion. Over the years, she created many villages, including Dickens' Village, North Pole, Christmas in the City, Snow Village, New England Village, Alpine Village, and Snow Village Halloween. The villages were kept up all year long and were part of everyday life. Our father loved to help her display them as well. Years later, I carried that tradition forward.
What began as love for her villages became my own collecting - and then a business. While working as a middle school English teacher and raising three children, I spent many years learning the pieces, the series, and the joy collectors feel when they find that one retired building they've been hunting for.
Today, Honey Beach Collectibles is a specialty shop for retired, hard-to-find Department 56 villages and fine collectibles - almost one-of-a-kind pieces chosen with care. Whether you're starting a village or adding to one you've loved for decades, I'm honored to help you find something special.
Thank you for supporting a small, family-rooted shop built on memory, tradition, and a genuine love of Department 56.
